hi!
this is kind of a funny story..
yesterday i had a slight golfing accident. I was teaching my girlfriend the basics at a driving range. I went and stood next to her to tell her she has to keep her left arm straight while swinging (so far she was just doing very small 'pendulum' style swings).

unfortunately i hadnt properly explained to her to be careful swinging the club when people are nearby, and i didnt expect her to do it when i was stood right next to her, and she unexpectedly tried a very hard swing. the club hit me on the 'finish', i.e. when it swings over her left shoulder.

it got me right on the top/left of my head. I staggered comicly about for a few seconds, and then sat in a chair. instantly a huge lump grew where i had been hit (could feel i rising under my hand). I didnt experience any unconsciousness.

in the end we decided to go to the hospital... i didnt feel dizzy (just 'unsteady' and shocked i guess). also no significant nausea.
they decided to do a CT scan. everything seemed ok, just exterior bleeding. no obvious interior bleeding.

but i just wanted to check somewhere for a second opinion. the problem is i live in japan, and while i think the doctors are great, many people tell me horror stories. (recently a friend got diagonsed with colon cancer... turned out he just has an aneamic condition).

thanks!
