Regular, Humalog, Lente, Ultra-Lente, 70/30, NPH, Lantus, and Novolog (which I am currently using in the pump). I can even identify most of these by smell! Sad, I know..

A lot of people that aren't using a fast-acting insulin (Novolog, Humalog, Apidra) in the pump are using Lantus (glargine) with the fast-acting insulins for meal boluses. Does anyone here take Byetta or Symlin? These are hormones made in a functional pancreas, but they do not have the same hypoglycemic effect of insulin. Its more of a complimentary medication to be used secondary to insulin.
