Please share your experience with AD - any experience you wish to share...

We can add further topics for other issues also (medicines, creams, treatments, etc).

I will start by giving an outline of my own experience. I have suffered from Atopic since I was one year old (now 23). As a kid it came and went, things started getting worse when I was 13. I was picked on in school because of my rashes and itches. Nothing seemed to help, until I moved to Boston with my parents at age 15. Some combination of the cold and the different allergens evidently did the trick - within 6 months my atopic disappeared completely.
At that point I thought it was all over, and was very disappointed when, three years later and 1.5 years after I was back in Israel, the atopic came back. Again I had periods of flare-ups and calmer periods - nothing I couldn't deal with.

But 2.5 years ago my situation suddenly got worse. And after that it kept getting worse. I was like the proverbial boiling frog. Things got progressively worse for two years and nothing was helping at all. Finally, after a month of nearly sleepless nights (less than 4 hrs a night), I was hospitalized for 10 days.

Since then my situation is much better but I am on very aggressive treatments to keep it that way (more about that is in my blog, and I will share later).

Now, please share your story and experience! I will wait patiently to hear it.
