How do you keep track of your CF-related expenses, co-pays and other?
I do research and we are trying to figure out the best way to quantify what people are spending on their disease. This could be direct costs, like medication, or indirect costs, like having to hire a babysitter because your child is too sick from their CF to go to school.
We don't know if it's feasible to ask someone to report their monthly costs (if that's too long of a span), but then again, we don't want to overburden anyone who participates in our research. This would be a long-term study so I'm just looking for your thoughts on how to make this both easy to complete and accurate.
