I was just wondering if anyone knows if there is a link between mast cell disease and allergies? I have a 1 year old son with urticaria pigmentosa, and a 9 yr old daughter who has severe allergies to a number of things, mainly peanut, and she is at risk of anaphalaxis. I'am curious as the whether my daughter could be at risk of developing mast cell disease at any point in the future, or if my son is likely to have trouble with allergys as he gets older. My daughter sees a allergy specialist, would they be likely to know anything about mast cell disease. Sorry if this sounds a bit silly,but i'm new to all this and i'm trying to gather as much info before my next appointment with the dermatologist
