I have had crohns for about 6 years now and i have always been on and off steroids ( prednisolone). They make me feel soooo hungry all the time and i gain weight on them, but i dont worry too much as when i come off them the weight drops off. I am now on a new kind of steroid called budesonide which is meant to have less side effects. Has anyone else been on these and if so have you gained weight from them?

You dont so much gain weight as much as the Prednisolone Louise. I found by face got a bit round on them I diddent gain as much on these as I did on Prednisolone. But it just falls off again when you come off them. They will make u feel really good finish the course of them and dont worry about gaining weight these are milder. I know its hard to control the munchies I craved choclate and sweets all the time and these are things I would never really throw any attention to before! Have you Crohns Louise?
